SMSF/Property Accountant - "First step out of practice"

This is a very unique opportunity for an ambitious candidate to make the transition from a public practice role (Business Services/Tax/SMSF) into the commercial accounting world!
Training and mentoring will be provided to a candidate that presents with the following skill set:
At least 3 years' experience in Tax/Business Services/SMSF
Ambition to make the transition into a commercially focused role
Positive and enthusiastic attitude with a high attention to detail
Experience with XERO
Experience in SMSF essential

What does the role involve?
The role will be varied and have a good mix of accounting duties including:
Assistance with 12 SMSF's on BGL360
Reconciliation of accounts
Investment reporting
Monthly client reporting
Monthly BAS/IAS
Assisting the property division with monthly lease charges
Assisting property managers with prepayments and accruals
Monthly property reporting/EOM
Liaising with tax accountants on compliance matters
