SMSF/Property Accountant
Job description
This is a very unique opportunity for an ambitious candidate to make the transition from a public practice role (Business Services/Tax/SMSF) into the commercial accounting world!

Training and mentoring will be provided to a candidate that presents with the following skill set:
- At least 3 years' experience in Tax/Business Services/SMSF
- Ambition to make the transition into a commercially focused role
- Positive and enthusiastic attitude with a high attention to detail
- Experience with XERO
- Experience in SMSF essential

What does the role involve?
The role will be varied and have a good mix of accounting duties including:
- Assistance with 12 SMSF's on BGL360
- Reconciliation of accounts
- Investment reporting
- Monthly client reporting
- Monthly BAS/IAS
- Assisting the property division with monthly lease charges
- Assisting property managers with prepayments and accruals
- Monthly property reporting/EOM
- Liaising with tax accountants on compliance matters
