The Opportunity
  
A dynamic and fast-paced boutique accounting firm is seeking a Senior Manager (Tax & Business Advisory) to join their Brisbane office. This is a strategic leadership role offering high-value work typically found in mid-tier environments, with the added benefit of a close-knit, people-first culture.
  
You’ll lead client engagements, mentor staff, and work closely with the firm’s leadership team to shape the future of the practice—all while enjoying a workplace that genuinely values honesty, transparency, and continuous improvement.
  
  
Key Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of SME and high-net-worth clients across diverse industries
• Deliver strategic tax and business advisory services, including structuring and planning
• Review and oversee work prepared by junior team members
• Build strong client relationships through proactive communication and value-driven advice
• Collaborate with senior leadership on client strategy and business development
• Contribute to team development through mentoring and knowledge sharing

  
About You
  
You’re a confident and experienced advisor with:

• CA/CPA qualification and 8+ years in public practice
• Strong technical expertise in tax and business advisory
• Proven leadership and mentoring capabilities
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• A proactive mindset and alignment with values like honesty, transparency, and balance
