Initially, this role will encompass staff management including mentoring and developing a team of 7, and client relationship management. Active participation in the leadership team with input into the strategic direction of the firm. There is a path to Associate Director within 12 months and a structured path to Director level.

The key duties of this role will include:
Training, mentoring, managing WIP, reviewing, and developing a team of 7 accountants
Working closely with high quality business services clients with up to $180 million turnover across industry
Work alongside a dedicated Business Development Manager to grow the fee base
Developing and implementing best practices particularly relating to systems, processes and staff performance
Build solid working relationships with new and existing clients and internal stakeholders.
The Successful Applicant:
At least 5+ years’ experience in an Australian practice
CA or CPA qualified
Experience leading and managing a team
Ability to develop strong relationships with clients
Ability to create and implement best practices
Exceptional communication, presentation and relationship management skills.
