Senior Accountant

Job description

Work within a flat structure for a small accounting firm with a great reputation, be responsible and accountable for your own client portfolio.

Duties will include:

  • A mix of SMSF and SME business clients

  • MYOB AE and BGL 360 software

  • Full process from meeting with the client through to financial statements and tax returns, tax planning and advisory

  • Training can be provided in the advisory and SMSF space 

  • The role is estimated to have 60% compliance and 40% advisory billings

Requirements to apply: 

  • Degree plus experience an Australian accounting firm in business services and preferably SMSF work

  • Willingness to work independently and manage a client portfolio

  • Solid experience at compliance level, training provided in advisory capacity
