This is a Senior Accountant role within a Business Services team.  My client is a mid-tier, globally recognized firm, located in Brisbane CBD.  There is a clear pathway for the right person to progress to Manager level quickly.

Responsibilities

This role is responsible for assisting the Business Services team with tax and accounting services for their clients in accordance with the firm's quality standards and time frames.
You will be responsible for meeting established productivity targets, as well as communicating work status within the team to ensure deadlines are met. 
  • Preparation of Income Tax Returns and Financial Statements
  • Tax Planning 
  • Mentorship within the team
  • Communicating with the ATO
  • Liaising with your clients and providing excellent customer service
About You 
  • Accounting or commerce related degree
  • Financially literate with experience within the industry
  • Sharp attention to detail 
  • Ability to meet established deadlines
  • Ability to effectively communicate thoughts and ideas
  • Exposure to customer service
