Practice Manager

Job description

The Opportunity
This is an integral role which will lead the administration and finance teams within a professional services firm. You will report to the Managing Partner undertaking the day-to-day management functions. This will include:
  • Managing the administrative function of the firm
  • Workflow optimisation
  • Manage WIP
  • Assessing and implementing process and system improvements
  • Manage external supplier relationships (IT, Office Supplies etc)
  • Work closely with Partners on strategic planning initiatives
  • Assisting with HR functions such as recruitment
  • Project management relating to strategic initiatives

About You
Ideally you will have at least 5 years of experience in a similar role. You must come from a public practice accounting or similar professional services background as well as having:
  • An analytical and problem-solving approach to your work
  • Proven ability to project manage and improve processes
  • Exceptional relationship building skills
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Team-centric approach to your work
  • Desire to be part of a team long term
