About the Client: My client is based in the CBD and is a very well respected boutique firm. They have a long history in the Brisbane market and are continuing to diversify their services and grow their business. As such, they are now looking for an Intermediate Accountant to join the firm.
About You: Ideally you will have two to three years of experience in Public Practice Accounting with a solid Business Services and Taxation skill set. Additionally, you will possess the following:
CA Qualified or almost completed
Excellent communication skills
Experience in dealing directly with clients
Ability to work autonomously
A passion for building and maintaining client relationships
About the Role: This position is a full business services and taxation role and as such you will be responsible for undertaking the following tasks:
Preparation of financial statements
Preparation of tax planning advice, in conjunction with Senior Accountants
Research and prepare accurate advice for review by senior staff on a variety of compliance issues
Attend to compliance matters such as FBT, BAS/IAS, Superannuation issues, PAYG, ATO Reviews
Preparation of technical advice for review by senior staff
Any experience working with medical clients would be highly regarded
