About the company:

Our client is a holistic financial planning firm with a handful of office locations throughout Queensland. They are going through a big period of growth and are looking to expand their Brisbane team through hiring a Head of Paraplanning. 

This is the perfect opportunity for a highly experienced paraplanner that has managed teams previously.

Tasks and Responsibilities: 

• Manage a team of paraplanners, onshore and offshore
• Oversee workflow and day to day operations of paraplanning team
• Act as an escalation point for paraplanners and assist with complex cases
• If required, assist in writing plans
• Handle onboarding and training of new paraplanners, and ongoing development of existing staff
• Oversee paraplanning processes and templates and look for efficiencies
• Ensure SOA's are compliant and of high quality
• Liaise with other business departments and provide reporting to directors

About you:

• Extensive paraplanning experience
• Experience writing SOA's for holistic advice scenarios
• Strong understanding of financial planning compliance and regulations
• Experience maintaining/updating SOA templates
• Experience managing a team of paraplanners and overseeing workflow
• Comfortable in a leadership role and able to provide training to staff
• Xplan and Xtools experience

Salary is flexible depending on experience, up to $160,000 + Super.
