The Opportunity:
Our client is a highly reputable construction business. Seeking an experienced Financial Controller to take ownership of the entire finance function and work closely with the company owner.
This will be a hands-on position involving management accounting, financial accounting and strategic planning.
Seeking someone with a property/construction background who is keen to be involved with property development. This would include market analysis, strategic planning, finding locations, sourcing funds, legal compliance, planning permission etc.
Onsite position with parking available.

The Opportunity:
Our client is a highly reputable construction business. Seeking an experienced Financial Controller to take ownership of the entire finance function and work closely with the company owner.
This will be a hands-on position involving management accounting, financial accounting and strategic planning.
Seeking someone with a property/construction background who is keen to be involved with property development. This would include market analysis, strategic planning, finding locations, sourcing funds, legal compliance, planning permission etc.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and delegate the financial operations of the business, including accounts payable and accounts receivable. There is a support staff member to assist with the transactional work.
- Process monthly payroll with the majority of staff being permanent employees
- Budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis
- Oversee the WIP flow
- Preparation and reconciliations of financial accounts
- Attend monthly company meetings providing financial commentary, trends, financial impacts, profitability and cash flow analysis
- Partner with the owner to provide long-term financial strategies
- Be involved with market analysis, strategic planning, finding locations, legal compliance for property development opportunities.
- Strengthen financial accounting procedures and systems
Your Experience:
- CA/CPA qualified
- Positive, adaptable and agile personality
- Tech-savvy; experience with an ERP system is necessary
- Must have experience within the construction/property industry
- Stable work history
- Strong communicator who enjoys liaising with internal stakeholders at all levels
- Enjoys being hands on with finance and taking ownership of the entire finance function
