About the Opportunity:

We are partnered with a dynamic financial services firm that is experiencing continued growth. The business provides personal financial advice to a client base of predominantly high net wealth individuals and families. 

There is an exciting opportunity for a financial adviser to join their Canberra team. This position is well suited for an experienced adviser that is able to take on a team leader role and provide guidance and mentorship to a team of advisers and support staff. The ideal candidate has a book of existing clients that they can bring to this role. If not, you will have existing referral relationships and a proven track record of onboarding new clients and developing a client base. This is a growth focused role.

The role:

  • Focus on growth and business development activities, the firm is happy to fund marketing campaigns

  • Develop a strong referral network and pipeline of client leads

  • Onboard new clients and develop an ongoing client base

  • Provide holistic financial advice and an excellent level of service

  • Continue to drive business growth through your own book and across the team

  • Provide ongoing service to your clients 

  • Help to guide and mentor advisers and support staff

  • Assist directors with business growth and planning

About you:

  • 5+ years of experience as an authorised financial adviser 

  • Completed FASEA required studies and exam 

  • Strong knowledge of financial strategies across holistic advice

  • Demonstrated business development success 

  • Existing referral relationships 

  • Strong leadership skills

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Proactive with a growth mindset

  • Xplan experience

  • Keen to drive business growth and work towards partnership/equity

Salary is flexible depending on experience: circa $120,000 - $150,000 + super + bonus and future equity opportunities.
