Client Services Administrator/SMSF Administrator

THE OPPORTUNITY:
Our client, a well-established, mid-tier accounting and financial services firm, is looking for a skilled Administrator to join the team. This is an exciting permanent opportunity for a skilled administrator who enjoys interaction with people and prides themselves on their work and attention to detail.  
  
THE FIRM:
This is a dynamic accounting firm who provide taxation, business advisory and accounting services for businesses and private clients. They are a close-knit and friendly team who are very client orientated and pride themselves on their professionalism. Located near public transport (train and bus), restaurants, and with on-site parking, this is the ideal place to work!
  
DUTIES:
Your duties will be varied and include undertaking the following duties. There is a component of this role which involves undertaking SMSF administration : 
  • Providing team assistance to a team of accountants
  • Prioritise tasks and manage workflow
  • Liaise with ATO and undertake related administrative functions as necessary including setting up of payment plans
  • Liaise with ASIC and undertake related tasks as necessary 
  • Undertake administration of SMSF funds and liaising with clients regarding information as necessary (training can be provided)
  • Collation of financial statements and tax returns
  • Assist with general enquiries, queries and requests
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
Ideally you will have experience working in an accounting firm and be looking for your next long term role!  You will also have: 
  • High attention to detail
  • Experience in interacting with clients
  • Experience with MYOB AE, Class, Now Infinity and ATO would be beneficial
  • Experience undertaking administration for SMSF funds is highly regarded but training can be provided
