About the Role
This role is a pivotal one for the firm in which you will be responsible for undertaking specialized accounting administration to assist a team of Accountants. You will work closely with the Practice Manager and your duties will include the following:
  
  • Dealing directly with clients and assisting with queries
  • Diary management and scheduling of appointments
  • Following up clients with reminders in regard to lodgment dates
  • Drafting of correspondence on behalf of accountants
  • Lodgment of documents on behalf of accountants
  • Undertaking reception duties
  • Onboarding new clients
  • Maintaining client database
  • Liasing with the ATO
  • Liaising with ASIC
  
About You
You will be an experienced Administrator with a background working in the professional services sector. It would be ideal if you have experience working in a public practice accounting firm, however this isn’t essential – you would just need to be willing to be trained in the specialist aspects of accounting administration. Additionally, you will:
  
  • Be tech savvy – the firm is currently transitioning to a new cloud-based software system
  • Be accustomed to working in a client focused role
  • Have the ability to work with confidentiality due to the firm’s high-profile client base
  • Have the desire to work as part of a team
