The Role
This is a role that will provide you with variety in your day. Primarily you will be responsible for providing administrative support to a team of Accountants. In addition, you will also offer support to the general operation of the firm by providing assistance to the receptionist if required and general office duties. Your primary focus will be:
  • Preparation and follow up of correspondence on behalf of accountants
  • Liaising with ATO -  lodging of documents, drafting correspondence and other duties as required
  • Liaising with ASIC - including issuing annual company statements, completion of forms as necessary, registering/de-registering of companies
  • Collation of documents
  • Managing lodgement of tax returns and BAS
  • Maintaining client database
About You
To be considered for this role it is preferable that you have experience working in a public practice accounting environment undertaking a similar role. However, candidates with a general administrative background will also be considered. You will also have the following:
