Bookkeeping Manager

The Role
This role presents the opportunity for the successful candidate to develop, mentor and lead a team of Bookkeepers to provide exceptional client service to a diverse portfolio. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Providing guidance and technical support to team members
  • Reviewing of work and managing workflow
  • Providing strategic bookkeeping advice to clients
  • Building strong client relationships
  • Ensuring a thorough understanding of your clients and their business needs
  • Identifying opportunities for business growth
  • Onboarding of new clients
  
About You
Ideally you will have at least 5 years of experience working in a senior bookkeeping position. You will be experienced in managing a broad portfolio of clients whilst also having:
  • Cert IV in Bookkeeping or equivalent
  • Experience managing a team of bookkeepers
  • Experience in providing mentoring to a team
  • The skills to undertake full function bookkeeping for clients including: BAS, Payroll and Reconciliations
  • Experience using cloud-based software (Xero is preferred)
  • Exceptional communication skills
