- Manage two bookkeepers
- Delegate, oversee and review of monthly bookkeeping, activity statements, payroll tax
- Identify any opportunity for system and process improvement
- Undertake monthly reporting for clients
- Undertake accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
- Reconcile accounts
- Calculate and process payroll for clients
- Produce monthly and quarterly activity statements
- Action property development and utilisation requests
Skills and Experience:
You will be an experienced Bookkeeper who ideally has been working in the public practice accounting sector for at least 5 years. Additionally, you will have the following:
- Certificate IV in Bookkeeping as a minimum qualification
- Experience using Xero software
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Proven ability to effectively manage and mentor a small team
- Strong communication skills and ability to liaise with clients
- Ability to work with a small tight knit team
