Bookkeeper - Xero Specialist

The Opportunity:

Our client is a respected Australian brand with over 100 years of history and a national network of independently operated franchises. With continued growth across the country, the Brisbane-based corporate head office is looking for an experienced Xero Bookkeeper to join their team.
  
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Bookkeeper who has a background working in the public practice accounting sector.   This role will suit someone who wants to move into a systems-focused, project-based role while still working closely with a portfolio of business clients.

The Team:

You'll be part of the corporate head office in Brisbane’s CBD, working with a young, professional, and social team. The environment is fast-paced and supportive — ideal for someone who’s proactive, solutions-oriented, and enjoys helping people get the best from their systems.
  
You’ll work closely with both internal teams and franchise business owners across Australia — so clear communication, problem-solving skills, and a customer-first mindset are key.
  
  
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead financial systems implementations and conversion
  • Migrate and configure data and systems with minimal disruption to business operations
  • Support new franchise onboarding by preparing clean, reconciled financial data
  • Troubleshoot and clean up historical files and legacy system issues
  • Provide training and ongoing support to franchise business owners on cloud-based financial tools
  • Work collaboratively with internal finance teams to align processes and ensure consistency
  • Drive improvements in onboarding and systems workflows to enhance scale and efficiency
  
About You:
  • You’re highly experienced with Xero and cloud-based financial systems
  • You enjoy working with clients and helping them succeed
  • You’re confident managing systems, solving data problems, and training others
  • You have strong attention to detail and can manage multiple projects with ease
  • Experience with data migration or system implementations is highly regarded
