About the Firm:
Our client has a long history in the accounting industry and is very well respected. They are currently experiencing growth within their bookkeeping division and are looking for a qualified Bookkeeper to join their existing team. They provide a great working environment, and you will be part of a friendly, approachable team! 


About the Role:
This is a full function bookkeeping role.  You will be responsible for building and maintaining client relationships so you must love this part of the job! You will manage your own portfolio. You will be reporting directly to the Bookkeeping Manager and will undertaking a full function bookkeeping role which includes the following: 
  • Preparation of BAS/IAS
  • Reconciliations – Bank, GST and Payroll
  • Completing end of year processes
  • Undertaking the payroll function for some clients
  • Reviewing and adjusting client records
  • Completing year end processes
About You:
You will have at least two years of experience working in a bookkeeping role managing a varied client portfolio. It would be ideal if this experience has been gained in a public practice accounting firm. Ideally you will also have the following:
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Experience with MYOB AE
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Proven ability to deal directly with clients
  • Ability to manage priorities
  • A positive approach to your work and ability to work as part of a team
