The Opportunity: 

Our client is based on the city fringe of Brisbane and is a well-respected advisory/accounting firm. They are seeking a Bookkeeper to join the team to undertake full function bookkeeping for a portfolio of clients. You will predominately be working closely with one client group whilst also and maintaining relationships with a small portfolio from a variety of industries. This is primarily a process driven role undertaking the duties listed below.  
  
This role will suit either a Bookkeeper or an experienced Management Accountant who enjoys working with a client portfolio.


Key responsibilities:
  • Accounts payable
  • Accounts receivable
  • Payroll - experience with this is a must
  • Budgeting
  • Forecasting
  • Profit & loss
  • Reconciliations
  • Weekly and monthly reporting
  • BAS preparation
  • IAS preparation

Your experience:

  • Cert IV in Bookkeeping or Diploma qualified or higher
  • Minimum of 5 years in a similar role
  • MUST have payroll experience
  • Inventory experience will be highly regarded
  • Stable work history
  • Excellent communication skills
