About The Firm
Our client is a well recognised national accounting firm with their Brisbane office based in the CBD.  They provide a full range of accounting services to their client base which includes ASX listed companies through to family owned businesses and not for profit organisations. They provide excellent support and career progression for their staff. 

About The Role
This position is a full function bookkeeping role working at a senior/management level.  Essentially the role will involve managing a portfolio of clients undertaking the following: 

  • Full end to end bookkeeping function for clients

  • Providing assistance to clients in regard to bookkeeping software

  • Meeting with clients if required onsite

  • Processing payroll for clients

  • Setting up/converting clients to new software systems for bookkeeping

  • BAS/IAS preparation

  • Preparation and/or reconciliation of PAYG records

  • Completing end of year processes

  • Assisting clients directly with bookkeeping queries

  • Managing and mentoring junior bookkeepers

  • Managing workflow and deadlines

About You
Ideally you will have at least 5 years of experience working in a similar role. With a strong client focus and ability to mentor staff this will be a rewarding and varied role.
