The Opportunity 
Our client is a dynamic Accounting firm located in the Western Suburbs of Brisbane. They provide a high level of bookkeeping and accounting services to their well-established client base. Due to their continual growth, our client are seeking a senior bookkeeper to join their team. This can be on a full time or a part time basis - your choice! 

The Role
As a senior bookkeeper you will be responsible for providing exceptional client services to your portfolio of clients. Your main responsibilities will include: 
  • Report directly to Partners 
  • Preparation of end-of-month closing and reconciliations 
  • Assisting clients with cash flow management 
  • Payment of invoices on behalf of clients 
  • Preparation and lodgement of IAS and BAS 
  • Reviewing clients files and assisting in planning 
  • Opportunity to mentor junior bookkeepers 
About You 
You will be an experienced Bookkeeper who ideally has a background working in the public practice accounting sector. Additionally, you will have: 
  • At least 3-5 years experience as a Bookkeeper
  • Certificate IV in Bookkeeping is ideal but not necessary
  • BAS Agent and Xero Certified 
  • Ideally have experience using ReceiptBank, Xero Practice Manager and Xero Workpapers  
  • Strong communication skills and ability to liaise with clients 
  • Ability to get along with others and work as a team.
