Bookkeeper

Job description

The Role
Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, you will be working with a team of professionals who support and encourage collaboration across all divisions. This role is one you can take ownership of and is integral to ensuring the overall success of the financial operation of the company. You will be directly responsible for:
  
  • Accounts payable
  • Accounts receivable
  • Processing of expense claims
  • Reconciliations
  • Invoicing
  • Monitoring of cashflow
  • Management of credit card transactions
  • Preparation of month end reports
  • Assist with financial reporting and reviewing of debtors
  • Assist with preparation and lodgment of payroll tax
  • Ad hoc finance tasks as required
Skills & Experience
You will ideally have a background working in the construction industry, specifically in the commercial space or related industry. Additionally, you will be:
  
  • Proficient in using Xero and Excel
  • Passionate about producing accurate and detailed work
  • Organized with excellent time management skills
  • Eager to work as part of a team
  • Open to learning
  • A fast learner who is open to adapting to new software, systems and processes
  • Seeking a long term role with a great team
