Bookkeeper

Job description

About the Role:
This position sits in the Bookkeeping team and you will be working with a team of bookkeeping professionals. You will be responsible for manging your own portfolio of clients and will be looking after their end to end bookkeeping needs. Your duties will include:

  • Bank account and credit card reconciliations

  • Preparation of end-of-month  

  • Accounts payable and accounts receivable

  • Payroll

  • Reporting

  • Liaising with clients and building strong client relationships and resolve issues if necessary

  • Preparation of BAS

  • Preparation of budgets may be required for some clients

About You:
You will be an experienced Bookkeeper who ideally has a background working in the public practice accounting sector. Additionally, you will have: 

  • At least 3-5 years of experience as a Bookkeeper

  • Certificate IV in Bookkeeping is ideal

  • Experience using Xero software

  • Experience with with MYOB and Quickbooks

  • Strong communication skills and ability to liaise with clients 

  • Ability to work with a small tight knit team
