OUR CLIENT
Our client is a fast-paced accounting firm, located in Brisbane’s city fringe. They are currently seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join them on a permanent basis! They are looking for an enthusiastic and professional team member who is accustomed to managing a portfolio of clients.
  
ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a hands-on role in which you would have that autonomy to manage client relationships. You will be well suited to this position if you are someone who has a passion for assisting clients to achieve the most out of their business. Responsibilities will include:
  

  • Undertaking a full function bookkeeping duties for clients including:

    • AP

    • AR

    • Reconciliations

    • BAS preparation

    • IAS preparation

    • Payroll

    • Completing year end processes

  • Managing workflow and meeting deadlines.

  • Providing training to clients on software and converting to new package if required.

  • Managing client relationships both online and face to face.

 
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Ideally you will have at least 2 years’ experience working in a public practice accounting firm undertaking a similar role. You will also possess the following: 

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal & written.

  • You'll be a team player.

  • The ability to work autonomously & as part of a team with the ability to take personal ownership.

  • The ability to develop rapport with clients .

  • Experience using Xero.
