ABOUT THE ROLE
This role is a varied one and would suit someone who enjoys being kept busy! To be successful you will service orientated and have a keen interest in the accounting industry. It's not a necessity that you come from an accounting firm background, but it is important that you are an experienced administrator. Your duties will include:
Preparing correspondence, formatting documents and proof reading
Collecting information and collating documents
Responsible for corporate compliance including ASIC forms and lodgements and setting up entities
ATO lodgement and liaising with them on behalf of clients
Processing invoices and end-of-month duties
Reception duties including answering phones and assisting when client come in
Assisting with the maintenance of the office
Managing diaries and booking travel for staff
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Along with experience working as an administrator, you will also have the following:
Excellent communication skills, both verbal & written
You'll be a team player
The ability to work autonomously & as part of a team with the ability to take personal ownership
The ability to develop rapport with clients
Experience using Xero, CAS 360, FuseDocs, ATO Portal and Visio would be an advantage but not essential
