THE OPPORTUNITY

Our client is a leading franchise group with multiple stores, and known for their strong presence in the Australian community.     

Due to their continual growth, our client is seeking a Financial Accountant join their head office accounting team.  If you have multi-entity accounting experience and you are looking for an open-plan, lively working environment, this is the role for you!

This role is based at Bowen Hills with parking on-site.  Close to the train station. 


THE ROLE

As a Financial Accountant you will be responsible for the following duties: 
  • Accounts Receivable
  • Accounts Payable (end to end)
  • Payroll (end to end) – about 40/50, payroll costs are allocated to the correct entity
  • End of Month preparation (Balance sheet reconciliations, prepayment, and accrual journals, reconciling clearing accounts)
  • Inter-entity transactions, loans, AP, AR, payroll - all completed in different cost centres.
  • Multi-entity or franchise exp essential for inter-entity work
  • Managing multiple inboxes – preferred, not essential

ABOUT YOU
  • Commercial experience with multi-entity work
  • Willingness to learn
  • Positive attitude
  • Experience with Xero, and ideally Tanda/Deputy
  • Excellent time management skills
