The Opportunity This is an exciting opportunity to join a reputable and long-standing accounting firm with over 70 years of experience delivering high-quality services to a loyal client base. As an Intermediate Accountant, you will gain exposure to a wide range of entity types and industries, including clients with high turnovers. You’ll receive excellent mentoring, support for your CA/CPA studies, and genuine career development opportunities.

About You To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A completed Bachelor's degree in Accounting (or similar)
• 3+ years’ experience working in an Australian public practice firm
• CA/CPA qualification (completed or currently studying)
• Australian citizenship or permanent residency

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation of income tax returns for individuals, partnerships, companies, and trusts
• Preparation of financial accounts for complex entity structures
• Applying relevant taxation legislation to a variety of client scenarios
• Preparation of Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT) returns
• Assisting clients with management accounting using various accounting software
• Liaising directly with clients to gather required financial information
• Ensuring compliance with Australian Taxation Office (ATO) deadlines
