About the Company:
We’re partnering with a well-established boutique accounting firm in Brisbane, known for delivering tailored accounting, tax, and advisory services to high-end clients. This is an excellent opportunity for an accountant to join a structured, process-driven environment with exposure to complex work and strong mentorship.
The firm operates with a close-knit team of eight, serving medium to large clients with turnovers ranging from $2 million to $150 million across industries like construction, engineering, medical, and retail. All work is cloud-based and automated, allowing you to focus on high-value tasks. Professionals with a background in audit or business services are encouraged to apply, with a clear pathway to transition into tax and business services.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepare tax returns for individuals, companies, and trusts. Assist with tax planning and ensure compliance with GST, BAS, and payroll tax.
Prepare financial statements, provide business analysis, budgeting, and cash flow management.
Build relationships with clients, offering proactive tax and business advice.
Assist with SMSF financials, tax returns, and compliance.
Collaborate with senior staff, guide junior accountants, and participate in regular training.
About You:
Degree qualified and currently pursuing or have completed CA/CPA.
Ideally 2+ years Australian public practice accounting experience
Professional, confident and driven personality
A team player who thrives in a flexible and collaborative environment.
