About the Company:

We’re partnering with a well-established boutique accounting firm in Brisbane, known for delivering tailored accounting, tax, and advisory services to high-end clients. This is an excellent opportunity for an accountant to join a structured, process-driven environment with exposure to complex work and strong mentorship.

The firm operates with a close-knit team of eight, serving medium to large clients with turnovers ranging from $2 million to $150 million across industries like construction, engineering, medical, and retail. All work is cloud-based and automated, allowing you to focus on high-value tasks. Professionals with a background in audit or business services are encouraged to apply, with a clear pathway to transition into tax and business services.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare tax returns for individuals, companies, and trusts. Assist with tax planning and ensure compliance with GST, BAS, and payroll tax.

  • Prepare financial statements, provide business analysis, budgeting, and cash flow management.

  • Build relationships with clients, offering proactive tax and business advice.

  • Assist with SMSF financials, tax returns, and compliance.

  • Collaborate with senior staff, guide junior accountants, and participate in regular training.


About You:

  • Degree qualified and currently pursuing or have completed CA/CPA.

  • Ideally 2+ years Australian public practice accounting experience

  • Professional, confident and driven personality

  • A team player who thrives in a flexible and collaborative environment.
