The company places great importance on maintaining up-to-date systems, processes, and training, ensuring accountants are supported throughout their post-graduate studies. About the Role:
Due to expansion, they are seeking a Tax and Business Services Accountant to join their established team. Key responsibilities include:
Prepare financial statements, tax returns, and BAS for a variety of clients including individuals, companies, trusts, partnerships, and SMSFs
Assist in client advisory and tax planning meetings alongside Managers and Partners
Conduct research on complex tax matters such as CGT, FBT, Division 7A, and Payroll Tax
Support compliance and reporting functions in line with current accounting standards and legislative requirements

About You:
Strong communication skills
At least 3+ years’ experience in public practice accounting
Tertiary qualified
Commenced or nearing completion of CA or CPA studies
Experience in SMSF accounting is highly regarded, but not essential
