SMSF Accountant

Job description

This is a very unique opportunity for an ambitious SMSF accountant to make the transition from a purely SMSF compliance based role into a broader accounting role with a professional services group that provide a full set of services to HNW families including SMSF and property management. This is your opportunity to make a positive and lasting change! Training will be provided.

With diverse duties across SMSF and their property management divisions, your duties will include: 
  • Looking after a small group of complex SMSF's for HNW families
  • Data entry and reconciliation of accounts
  • Investing reporting 
  • Monthly reporting when the SMSF is part of a larger group
  • EOY compliance preparation and drafting tax returns
  • Preparing funds for Audit
  • Assisting in the property management division with management reporting, prepayments and accruals (training provided)
What to you need:
  • Progress toward CA/CPA or completion
  • Strong SMSF experience with BGL360 or similar
  • An Interest in the broader accounting function
