Are you an experienced Public Practice Accountant looking for task variety, flexibility and genuine career progression? 

Our client is a well established firm based in Southport and they are seeking a Senior Accountant to join their high performing team. The firm provides a range of services for their clients from bookkeeping, tax, business services, and virtual CFO, and strategic planning. You will work closely with the Manager and Partner to deliver excellent services to clients from the professional service industries. 

Responsibilities 

• Meeting with clients and managing the client relationship

• Preparing tax returns and financial statements for all entity structures

• Div7a, CGT, FBT, Payroll tax and other tax calculations

• Maintain an ongoing awareness of market/industry and competitor trends and grow your portfolio through continuous improvement initiatives

• Assist with business development activities including drafting proposals and conducting client meetings

About you 

• Ideally you will be CA/CPA qualified or near completion

• Great communication skills both written and verbal
