About the Opportunity

Join a nationally recognised mid-tier accounting and advisory firm as a Senior Manager and take charge of a broad and sophisticated client portfolio. You’ll work with well-structured businesses (turnovers from $5m+), group entities, and clients with internal finance teams, supported by a well-leveraged team that lets you focus on advisory, strategic guidance, and technical excellence.

There are also opportunities to work on special projects such as estate planning, due diligence, and bespoke advisory engagements — giving you exposure across complex client structures and industries. This role is ideal for a commercially minded, technically strong professional looking to grow within a collaborative, national firm.


Key Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of sophisticated clients, including group-structured businesses
• Deliver high-level tax and business advisory services, including tax consolidation, tax-effect accounting, and complex advisory projects
• Act as a strategic advisor to clients, supporting business decisions
• Lead, mentor, and develop team members, fostering technical excellence and professional growth
• Oversee work quality and technical standards 
• Contribute to practice management, including workflow planning, resourcing, and team development
• Engage in special advisory projects, such as estate planning, due diligence, or bespoke client initiatives
• Support business growth through client relationship management, cross-service collaboration, and identifying advisory opportunities

About You

• CA or CPA qualified
• Significant experience at Manager or Senior Manager level in public practice
• Confidence engaging with senior stakeholders and internal finance teams
• Commercially minded with a focus on strategic client outcomes and advisory impact
