With continual growth in Queensland, the corporate head office located in the heart of the Brisbane CBD is now seeking an experienced accountant to join their accounting/finance division. The role will be reporting to a Finance Team Leader but will support a wider finance team covering a variety of accounting functions.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Create monthly financials and management reports
Annual budgeting and regular cashflow reporting
Discuss trends and changes with business owners
Review and complete monthly accounting processes including bank reconciliations, AP, AR and payroll
Complete compliance processes including balance sheet reconciliations and BAS/IAS reporting and lodgements
Prepare and analyse ad hoc financial reports to assist with business decisions
Support the leadership team with strategic financial decisions
Help to supervise junior accountants; allocate work, review and provide on the job mentorship
About You:
Experience with using XERO
Strong customer service and communication skills
Enjoys a mixed role including hands-on financial work, analysis and client management
Previous experience in a similar management accountant role
Experience working within a franchisee model is highly regarded
We will consider candidates coming from a public practice accounting background with experience preparing month-end financial reporting for clients
