ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
Your position will consist of providing administrative support to the Operations team, and a team of Accountants. This is a varied role that could also consist of some reception and general office duties, but primarily your focus will be:
Regularly liaising with ATO & ASIC and utilising the portals on behalf of accountants
Maintain contact with clients and liaise with them on behalf of accountants
Manage and update the client database as needed
Collation and preparation of documents for clients
Undertaking the management of tax lodgments on behalf of clients
Diary management
Utilising Xero XPM
Providing ad hoc support as required to the team

ABOUT YOU
To be considered for this role it is essential that have minimum 3 + years of experience working in a similar role within a professional services environment, e.g. public practice accounting or legal. It is also ideal that you have the following:
Experience in liaising with the ATO and ASIC
Great written and verbal communication skills
A proactive and personable attitude
Ability to work as a productive member of a team
Willingness to progress your career and learn new skills
