My client is a boutique and professional Accounting practice who has been in operation for almost 10 years. Based in Deakin, they provide a full range of services in Tax & Accounting, Self-Managed Superannuation, Risk Management, Succession Planning, Growth & Well Being, and Business Advisory. They have a client centric approach, which primarily consists of HNW clients.
About the role:
Due to continued business growth, we are seeking a Senior Accountant to join the team. Ideally we are seeking someone with a minimum of 4 years Australian Public Practice experience. Dependant on experience, you will be responsible for preparing financial statements, managing client relationships, and overseeing work of other accountants in your team.

Duties:
- Assist in managing a portfolio of clients, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of accounting services.
- Oversee the preparation of financial statements, tax returns, and other financial documents.
- Review and ensure the accuracy of financial reports and compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies.
- Analyse financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
- CA/CPA qualification preferred.
- Min. 4 years of accounting experience.
- Experience in public accounting.
- Proficiency in Xero software.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
