Senior Accountant (Tax & Business Advisory) with ref.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Our client is an employer of choice and a multi-disciplinary firm based in modern offices in the Northern Gold Coast! This firm have established a long-standing history in the accounting industry and are experts in providing effective solutions to their diverse portfolio of clients.

They are a well-respected firm with an open-door policy that pride themselves on their highly supportive and professional team environment.

THE ROLE

Due to significant growth, they are now motivated to continue growing their Taxation and Business Services Team. You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients and assisting with the supervision of Junior staff.

Your duties include but will not be limited to:

Manage a portfolio of clients from SMEs to large multi-entities.
Preparation of financial statements and income tax returns for companies, partnerships, trusts, and individuals.
Provide strategies to clients in relation to budgeting & cash flow planning, tax structuring, tax planning and business structuring.
Meet with clients and manage their queries.
Support the Partners and assist with the strategic direction of the firm.
Assist with supervising a team of Juniors and Intermediates.

ABOUT YOU

Tax & Business Services Accountant with at least 3 years’ experience in the Australian public practice accounting industry.
CA or CPA qualified (or near qualified) is an advantage but not a requirement.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
