Senior Accountant / Client Manager - Tax & Business Services

The company:
Bentley Recruitment has partnered with a leading mid-tier accounting firm who have a presence in every state and territory in Australia. With a team of over 80 professional staff, they offer a variety of services from Advisory, Accounting & Tax, and Financial Services.

The role:
Due to growth within the Business Services division, we are currently seeking an experienced Senior/Supervisor to assist in managing the client base of the partners. You will be required to understand the clients and provide innovative solutions and advice. 
This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, requiring you to be in the office at least 3 days per week. This role can also be offered as a part time position, working between 30 and 37.5 hours per week. 

Duties:
  • Manage and maintain ongoing relationships with clients, acting as the main point of contact
  • Provide strategies to clients in relation to budgeting & cash flow planning, tax structuring, tax planning and business structuring
  • Provide assistance to staff, outlining responsibilities and expectations
  • Provide feedback on a job by job basis
  • Preparation of financial statements and income tax returns for companies, partnerships, trusts and individuals
Skills & experience:
  • Circa 8 years experience as a Senior/Supervisor level
  • Experience managing a team of accountants
  • CA/CPA qualified
  • Bachelor degree in Accounting
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with Xero and MYOB
