About the Role
Our client is currently seeking a Senior Accountant to join their close-knit and supportive team.

Duties and responsibilities:
- Prepare financial statements, BAS, and tax returns, including business schedules and advanced capital gains.
- Complete CGT, GST and FBT returns.
- Preparation of payroll tax returns.
- Understand and advise on Land Tax and Payroll Tax and prepare relevant forms and annual notices.
- Review ATO and other compliance correspondence and take appropriate action with minimal supervision.
- Communicate with clients to answer any general queries and matters.
- Delegate suitable tasks where required.
- Monitor work-in-progress (WIP) as jobs advance and ensure timely preparation of fees.
- Minimum 3 years of Australian based Accounting experience
- Bachelors qualified
- CA/CPA part qualified or fully qualified
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
