The Opportunity

50% focus on operational needs including:

• Running weekly team meetings
• Monitoring firm wide metrics including workflow/WIP, productivity and targets
• Leading special projects including practice and process improvement
• Team member reviews
• Identity systems issues and improvements required

50% client work including: 

• Managing and growing a portfolio of clients
• Taking on new clients as they come into the business
• Ensuring jobs are completed effectively by meeting technical standards and deadlines
• Being involved in high level client work (small percentage of "hands-on" tax work) with a focus on onboarding and advisory work. 
• Full advisory work and present in client meetings 

This firm has a waitlist of new clients due to their reputation and over time there will be opportunities for the right candidate to move into a Partnership role for the firm OR remain at Senior Manager level with the added benefit of work-life balance.

Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience in a management position running a team within a Public Practice firm OR a previous practice business owner seeking more work-life balance
• Experience in managing a portfolio of clients and a keen interest in improving operations
• Ideally CA/CPA qualified
