About the role
We have partnered with a growing financial planning firm who are seeking an experienced Paraplanner to join their expanding team. You’ll support advisers and the operational team to deliver strategic, long-term solutions for clients, preparing and reviewing high-quality advice documents.

Key responsibilities
  • Conduct research on investments, superannuation, insurance, income streams, and salary packaging
  • Prepare insurance needs analyses and quotes using third-party platforms
  • Draft simple, standard, and complex Statements of Advice (SOAs) and Records of Advice (ROAs)
  • Perform peer review of advice documents for accuracy and compliance
  • Build projections for super (including SMSFs), income streams, investments, social security, aged care, and debt reduction
Skills & Experience
  • Ideally a tertiary qualification in Financial Planning
  • Extensive paraplanning experience in a similar role
  • Competent in financial planning software (Xplan or equivalent)
  • Strong knowledge of SMSF, super, retirement income streams, insurance, investments, social security, tax, gearing, and aged care
  • Excellent problem-solving, attention to detail, and interpersonal skills
