About the company:
My client is a leading, mid-sized financial planning and accounting firm who have been in operation for over 30 years. They provide a full suite of services  to their clients, ranging from wealth advice, super, retirement planning, insurance, business services, and accounting services. They have a high staff retention rate, which is attributed to their outstanding culture and career progression opportunities.

About the role:
They are currently experiencing a lot of growth, with many new clients coming onboard. This role is best suited for a junior financial adviser looking to manage a book of existing clients, build relationships, and learn the fundamentals of being an adviser. In time, you can progress your career and develop into a senior adviser position.

Duties:

  • Provide financial advice across all areas including investment, super, retirement planning, insurance, and estate planning.

  • Undertake quality conversations with clients to understand their needs.

  • Manage an existing book of clients.

  • Develop advice in the best interest of the client.

  • Demonstrate the ability to build long-term relationships with clients.

Skills & experience:

  • Ideal for someone with 1 -3 years experience as an adviser; or someone who has just completed their Professional Year.

  • Completed appropriate tertiary qualifications.

  • FASEA qualified.

  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Strong desire to grasp opportunities and develop your career.

  • Motivated and hard working.
