The Opportunity
A Top 100 accounting firm in Brisbane is seeking a motivated Junior Accountant to join their collaborative and high-performing team. This is an ideal role for someone looking to build a long-term career in accounting within a supportive and growth-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Preparation of individual, partnership, company, and trust tax returns
• Assisting with financial statements and compliance work
• Supporting senior accountants and managers with client deliverables
• Working with a diverse client base, with exposure to medical clients
• Maintaining accurate records and supporting month-end processes
About You
• Degree-qualified (or nearing completion) in Accounting or Commerce
• 0–2 years’ experience in public practice accounting
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A team player who thrives in a collaborative environment
• Career-driven with an interest in long-term progression within a firm
