YOUR ROLE

You will assist with a full range of tax compliance and general business services matters. As the firm advises a diverse range of clients, you will have the opportunity to gain exposure to complex work, including clients with multi-entity and group structures.

Duties include: 
  • Preparing financial statements, BAS and tax returns for companies, trusts, partnerships, and high-net-worth (HNW) individuals
  • Advising clients on income tax, FBT, CGT, payroll tax, and GST
  • Assisting Seniors and Partners with tax planning and financial strategy for clients
  • Assisting with providing on-the-job mentoring to junior accountants
ABOUT YOU
  • At least 2 years of experience within a public practice environment
  • Experience preparing BAS, tax returns and financial statements for various business entities
  • Experience utilising Xero or accounting software's
  • Driven and motivated attitude 
  • Excellent communication skills 
  • Enthusiastic to continually learn and develop

It has several teams within its Business Services division, and you will have the opportunity to learn and be mentored closely by the Managers and Partners.

The firm has an impressive client base, ranging from SMEs to companies with large turnovers, with clients from a variety of sectors, including property, construction, agriculture, IT, and retail.

Due to continued growth, they are now seeking an experienced Tax & Business Services Accountant to join their successful team.
