The Opportunity:

As a Tax and Business Services Accountant you will be involved in compliance work for SME clients. You will receive exceptional training, and there is no limit on what you can achieve - if you have aspirations to progress your career, they will help you do that!

The Firm:

Based on the Sunshine Coast, this boutique firm has a very flat structure and encourage an open door policy with all levels of staff. They are family/friendly and understand the importance of flexibility and work/life balance. The office environment is very relaxed and positive, they are paperless and operate predominately on cloud based software.

The Role:

• Preparation, review and analysis of financial statements and taxation summaries
• Financial statements and tax returns for companies, trusts, partnerships and SMSF’s
• Consider and implement taxation planning for tax minimisation including CGT
• Preparation and lodgement of BAS, IAS and FBT returns with the ATO
• Assessment and management of client Superannuation Funds
• Liaise with clients and advise on technical matters as they arise
• Build and maintain client relationships

Required Skills & Experience:

The firm is seeking a motivated and proactive accountant who has proven business services and tax experience. You will ideally also:

• Be CA/CPA qualified (or in the process of studying)
• Experience working in Australian Public Practice (minimum 1 year experience)
• Have strong people and communication skills
