About the Role

We are recruiting for a Financial Adviser to join a growing financial planning business based in Armidale, NSW. This is a unique opportunity to work with a well-established firm that delivers holistic financial advice to a diverse client base, with a particular focus on the agricultural sector.

You’ll step into a role with an existing client base, while also building relationships with new clients referred through multiple offices across the business. This position offers the chance to make a real impact, working alongside a highly experienced adviser and partner, to provide tailored financial solutions.

With six offices across regional and metropolitan areas, this firm has a strong presence in the financial services sector, offering a wide range of solutions. This busines takes a highly personalised approach to advice, with a particular focus on farmers and the agricultural community.

The Armidale office is a vibrant and supportive environment, where you will work with a team of professionals and have access to remote client support and paraplanning resources.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver holistic financial advice across SMSF, investments, and insurance.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, particularly within the agricultural sector.
  • Collaborate closely with the principal adviser to support client growth and deliver exceptional service.
  • Use platforms like Xplan and Worksorted to manage client workflows efficiently.
About You
We’re looking for someone who thrives in a client-focused environment and can build trust and rapport with a wide range of individuals, particularly those in the farming community. Ideal candidates will have:
  • Experience as a Financial Adviser or recently completed their Professional Year (PY).
  • A strong understanding of SMSFs, investment advice (using SMAs), and insurance (life, TPD, trauma, and income protection).
  • Familiarity with Xplan and other financial platforms like Netwealth or Hub24.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • An understanding of or interest in working with agricultural clients.
