The Company
  
Our client is a highly regarded boutique accounting and advisory firm in the Brisbane inner city fringe. With over 20 years experience and offices in multiple states, they are passionate about developing strong relationships with their clients and providing exceptional, timely service in a professional manner.
  
This firm is in a growth phase, and they are now seeking an experienced Administrator looking to take the next step in their career! This is a high-level, fast-paced role where you will provide Executive Assistance to the firm’s Director as well as supporting the broader team. 
  
  
About You
  
Ideally you will have at least 2-4 years of experience working within a public practice accounting firm. You will also be / have : 

  • Ability to work efficiently across multiple platforms and support a busy team

  • Excellent communication skills and experience in client and manager interactions

  • Project management and operational streamlining skills

  • Experience with phone handling and switchboards

  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage conflicting priorities, multitask, and meet deadlines

  • Initiative, flexibility, and the ability to work independently in a dynamic environment

  • Experience with Xero, XPM, and the ATO portal, and strong Microsoft Office skills

  • Full working rights in Australia.

The Role
  
This is a fast paced role where you will work to support the Director and collaborate with teams both on and offshore. Your duties will include (but are not limited to) :

  • Managing the director’s inbox and calendar

  • Overseeing compliance work and client ATO obligations

  • Handling client queries and assisting with invoices

  • Interacting with external agencies like ATO and ASIC

  • Ensuring clients’ ASIC compliance is up to date

  • Assisting with client onboarding/offboarding and incorporations

  • Contributing to firm projects and supporting the team of Accountants & Bookkeepers
