The Opportunity

A highly regarded and rapidly growing mid-tier accounting and advisory firm is seeking an Associate Director to join its Brisbane HQ. 

This role supports the Managing Partner and Director and offers broad exposure across complex private clients, high-growth businesses, and not-for-profit organisations. You will operate as a senior advisor and people leader, with genuine involvement in strategic decision-making and the firm’s ongoing growth.


Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Managing Partner and Director in delivering high-level tax and business advisory services
  • Manage a diverse portfolio of business, private, and not-for-profit clients
  • Provide strategic advice across complex business structures
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of experienced professionals
  • Review work and ensure strong technical and quality standards
  • Contribute to client strategy, workflow planning, and resourcing
  • Support organic growth and business development initiatives

Client Base & Team


The firm services a diverse and high-quality client base including SMEs, high-net-worth individuals, medical specialists, hospitality groups, construction companies, manufacturing and IT businesses, and a wide range of not-for-profit organisations.

Client groups include privately owned businesses with turnovers up to $180m, alongside a broader portfolio of established and growing organisations. You will be supported by a well-resourced, multi-level team, enabling you to focus on high-value advisory and leadership.


About You

You are a commercially minded and confident advisor with:
  • CA or CPA qualification
  • Significant experience in public practice (Senior Manager or Associate Director level)
  • Strong technical expertise across business services and tax
  • Proven leadership and mentoring capability
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills
  • An interest in contributing to the long-term growth of a mid-tier firm
