The Opportunity


A dynamic and fast-paced boutique accounting firm is seeking a Associate Director – Tax & Business Advisory to join its Brisbane office.
This is a strategic leadership role offering the calibre of work typically found in mid-tier firms, combined with the benefits of a close-knit, people-first culture. You will lead complex client engagements, mentor and develop staff, and work closely with the firm’s leadership team to help shape the future direction of the practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of SME and high-net-worth clients across diverse industries
  • Deliver strategic tax and business advisory services, including structuring and tax planning
  • Review and oversee work prepared by junior and intermediate team members
  • Build strong client relationships through proactive communication and value-driven advice
  • Collaborate with senior leadership on client strategy and business development initiatives
  • Contribute to team development through mentoring, coaching, and knowledge sharing

About You


You are a confident and commercially minded advisor with:
  • CA or CPA qualification
  • 8+ years’ experience in public practice
  • Strong technical expertise across tax and business advisory
  • Proven leadership and mentoring capability
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • A proactive mindset with strong alignment to values such as honesty, transparency, and balance
