About the Role
Join a growing, privately owned financial services firm as an Associate, working closely with Senior Advisers and Directors to deliver high-quality holistic advice. This is an integral role within the advice process, ideal for someone with strong industry experience who enjoys client engagement, technical work, and contributing to a high-performance team environment.
• Attend client meetings and act as a key point of contact for clients
• Support advisers with strategy development and maintain accurate file notes
• Prepare SOAs/ROAs and assist with financial modelling and portfolio analysis
• Manage end-to-end implementation for new and existing clients
• Coordinate new business applications, follow ups, and workflow management through Xplan
• Contribute to ongoing process improvements across the advice function
Skills & Experience
• Minimum 3 years’ experience within the financial planning industry
• Strong experience interacting directly with clients and building trusted relationships
• Proven knowledge of ROAs, SOAs, financial modelling, portfolio construction and asset allocation
• Relevant tertiary qualifications
• Strong working knowledge of Xplan (essential)
• High attention to detail, strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines
• Proactive, self-motivated and comfortable working both autonomously and within a team
