Business Services Accountant

The Opportunity
We’re partnering with a growing, modern accounting firm that prides itself on delivering tailored financial solutions across accounting, bookkeeping and advisory. The Firm
This close-knit team consists of 13 staff, including a collaborative accounting team and a dedicated financial planning division. The business operates as one unified team, offering exposure across a broad range of clients and services, with plans for continued growth following strong recent expansion.

The Role
You’ll work across a diverse portfolio of clients, ranging from individuals and small businesses to high-net-worth clients with complex structures and SMSFs. This role offers hands-on exposure and the opportunity to develop both compliance and advisory skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation of financial statements and tax returns for various entities
• BAS, IAS and GST compliance
• Exposure to complex client structures including SMSFs
• Client communication and relationship management
• Working closely with senior staff on advisory and tax planning

About You

• Experience in Business Services/Tax within a public practice firm
• Studying or planning to commence CA/CPA
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills
• Experience with Xero is highly regarded
